I have finally completed my cover of SMILE from the My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic TV show.

That you like the show or not doesn’t really matter ! The song is really good and catchy and I think I did a marvelous job with the mixing, the harmonies and the chorus at the end !

On Sunda May 6th 2012, the Poco-a-Poco choir was invited to perform at the Calgary’s NJCA kid’s day charity concert -
“to the children of japan” (more info here).

We started with Haruyo Koi, then performed “Jidai” from jpop legend Miyuki Nakajima. We ended our participation with a beautiful rendition of the Pachelbel’s Canon with the hanbells. Click on the picture for the videos and more information !

If you wish to join the choir, please email the CJCA. We are always looking for new members and voices. Practices are usually first Saturday (1:00pm to 3:00pm) and third Sunday (10:00am to 12:00pm) of each month. Practices are 99% in Japanese language.

I’ve been keeping busy lately with the preparation of my performance at Anime Revolution and other song projects ! I have been working on a cover of Pinkie Pie’s smash song “SMILE”. Here’s a teaser of the recording !!! I provided all the main vocals whereas I had the help of Mark for the backvocals at the end.

The Sailor Moon News Blog “Moon Chase” finally announced Anime Revolution’s Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary Celebration event with several of the DIC/Cloverway dub voice actresses of Sailor Moon !

What they also announced is my official appearance as a die hard Sailor Moon – I will also be performing at the event. This is very exciting !!
